I need help finding out where my Great Grandmothers Surnames were from? Thanks (:?

Ok so my great grandma's last name is Baltzell and i know it's Austrian and or German but where (like city or region wise) did it come from??? Also my other great grandma's last name is Surrett and i know thats like french or English but i think it's French, anyways i found out it was from Burgundy France but do they mean the modern day Bourgone (or however it's spelled) or the the old Burgundy France which is in lower France close to Italy??? Thanks soooo much! Plz answer if you know even if you only know one of the answers i've been looking for soo long! (:
