HAHAHA, was he embarrassed by me seeing his doormat?

okay so i'm seeing this guy on and off, he acts like a total player all the time, totally arrogant. he wants people to think that he's sooo important and soooo busy that he doesn't have time for domestic stuff and he doesn't have time to make home cooked food. So I dropped by his place unnanounced, saw a doormat that says "Home Sweet Home". I almost LOL. Doormat like that you'd find at your grandparents home. hahahah. I went by his house again a week later and the rug was gone. Was he embarrassed?? I see nothign wrong with owning a doormat like that, but i have to call out those who try to portray themselves as something other them who they really are...

Maybe he was cleaning it. Maybe someone put it there as a joke. Maybe he bought it because it was cheap at a garage sale and didn't think about what it said until you pointed it out. Why don't you ask him.

You obviously think about him a lot. Maybe he is actually busy, and you resent not having more of his time, that's why you try to make meaning out of things that are meaningless.
