Getting Into College?

In the fall of 2008 I am going to be a freshman in High School. I want to know what I can do to increase my chances in getting into a top undergraduate school. I have graduated middle school with a 4.0 GPA. Standardized test scores, good grades and a good GPA are gonna increase my chances I know. But thats not what Im asking. What can I do if I want to be a federal attorney? What classes, what to be cautious of. Give me a heads up. Even a reality check. Tell me something helpful. What is the secret into getting into the school of your dreams. As for schools I am already considering the Ivies and Georgetown and Duke and UCLA. I know being supremely well rounded helps but so far I am in the Honor society, (community service) and several sport teams and clubs.
Help!!!
Im determined

middle school is so diff from high school, i was able to get a 4.0 in middle school, but i just managed to get a 3.76 in high school. So you need to have some extra circulars that you have participated in for more than one year (if you do it all 4 years that's really good), sports and clubs is good, make sure you take AP and Honor classes, and you need a high SAT score, for UCLA, you also need to take the SAT 2 Math II and another subject test.

Victoria Aitken burst onto the scene with her irreverent and cheeky electro sound with a string of successful singles in 2009, and as the lead up to her forthcoming album continues, drops the newest installment in the form of new single "Flirt in a Skirt (Sexy Skirt)"

One of the newest emerging stars of the British dance scene, Victoria climbed the british dance chart last summer with her deep electro house single "I'll Be Your B***h" which raised eyebrows and generated interest across the internet with punchy, pithy hook lines featuring deep, crisp synth stabs and funky, pulsing, electro beats. This storming track reached no.6 in the DMC European Club charts, number 5 in the UK dance charts, and number 13 in the Music week charts, having found popular support on radio stations around the world. Victoria is certainly no stranger to chart action – scoring another hit in the charts last November - the song "Daisy" went to number 20 in the music week pop charts.

Born in Lausanne, Switzerland, Victoria Aitken's education spans Germany, Switzerland, and Washington, D.C, where she earned a B.A. In international relations from Georgetown University. Victoria has also studied acting at BADA , Lee Strasberg and Black Nexxus – appearing in film roles and completed an award winning documentary. Fluent in English, French, German, Russian, and Serbo-Croatian, Victoria is a champion skier, winning swiss school-girls gold.

Victoria is known as a jetsetter, recently performing in Sweden, at the Jarmo foundation with Meja and others and the Mix-mag concert in Brazil and She's performed on Turkish TV and Cyprus TV show "Alive". Coverage of her rise has also appeared in magazines such as New York Magazine, Vogue, GQ, XXL, W Magazine, Elle , The Daily Telegraph, The Daily Mail, Hot magazine Spain, the Cyprus mail and many others.

Victoria's also in good company as each of her incendiary singles has been backed to the hilt with fresh remix cuts from a coterie of colloborators such as Richard Robson, who has co writers credits on "I'll Be Your B***h" and who has also produced US artist Jes, and had his mix of Tiesto ft. Jes 'Everything' on the superstar DJ's 'Elements of Life' album.

When interviewed recently about the forthcoming single,Flirt in a Skirt she said:

"I wrote the verses to flirt in a skirt (sexy skirt) , on a plane, while I was feeling fed up with "keeping in touch" with somebody and having the feeling that "but what I do is not enouch" and felt "Am not going to fight for you if you don't fight for me, my own sword is cutting me". There suddenly becomes a point when you realize that you like somebody much more than they like you and enough is enough... when reality strikes. When I got back to London, I had most of the song. But still needed a hook. So going out one night – in a very short skirt, I thought that's it, a sexy skirt can make you feel so much better ! And what better to dance the night away in a sexy skirt. The first producer Afreex assisted in shaping the song."

This time remixes on "Flirt in a Skirt" track come courtesy of house veteran Mister Rosso, fresh talent Craig Williams and Tom Noize

Mister Rosso started dj-ing in 1993 playing "..Nuphonic type house with blastsof samba.." (quote UK Mixmag Magazine 1997). The next remix comes from he amazing Craig Williams an up and coming star, coming fresh off the back of a series of high profile artists he's remixed - Ozzy Osbourne, My Delirium by LadyHawke , Tivoli bu Steve Angello , ricky Tricky by Royksopp and Voodoo People by The Prodigy.

Tom Noize- has had a few hits with his songs and remixes including- Strangelove, Spinning and Get a rush- DMC World Trance chart no.2, UK Club chart no.10, Music Week Club chart no. 12.
