Your mountain friends at Blue Ridge Trading Company - Online Shopping Mall would like to invite you to come out this July 4th to the fireworks display presented by Food City and Pepsi.  The 24th annual Independence Day Fireworks Celebration on the grounds of Freedom Hall Civic Center, 1320 Pactolas Road, Johnson City, TN.

This years event will be held on Saturday, July 4th, and everyone is invited to join in the festivities.  This is a rain or shine event.  The fireworks starting time could be delayed if there is bad weather.  Visitors will be allowed to wait inside the Freedom Hall arena in the event of severe weather.  Since several thousand attend this celebration every year you are advised to show up early.  There will be concessions available beginning at 3PM.  If you like you can prepair your own meal at home and bring it along with your blankets or lawn chairs.

This years entertainment will be provided by Country singer Brinley Addington from Kingsport, Tn.  Brinley's love of country music began as a 3 year old after a family trip to Nashville to see the Grand Ole Opry.  At age 12, Brinley began singing at Church where he realized God's plan for his life: making music.  Brinley has been recording since age 13 and has recorded both Country and Christian music projects while still in high school.  Brinley is currently developing his professional performing skills while playing country music that people everywhere can relate to.  For more about Brinley and to hear samples of his music visit his website at www.myspace.com/brinleyaddington

Another great act sharing entertainment duties is Greenbrier Bluegrass Band with Jimbo Whaley.  Jimbo is a singer/songwriter, who performs with the bluegrass band Greenbriar, and was formerly with the band Pine Mountain Railroad, which he co-founded in 1988.  Greenbrier is one of the most popular bluegrass bands in the East Tennessee area, but due to high demand elsewhere, they are now performing select dates around the country including California, Wisconsin and most recently a sold out Atlanta show with Carrie Hassler & Hard Rain.  Don't miss the opportunity to see this band for free.  For more on Jimbo and Greenbrier visit his website at www.JimboWhaley.com
