An Indoor Garden might be a good fit for you, it is for me.Are you like me, a casual indoor gardener who likes to see plants grow? Fresh vegetables and Flower taste and smell great!

But I do not have the time or space in my backyard for a garden. Plus there is the work involved in digging the dirt, planting the seed, watering, weeding, fertilizing, watering, etc. Why not have an indoor garden in the kitchen, family room or office or, you can, with the AeroGarden system, fresh herbs, vegetables and flowers all year long? How do the plants grow in the AeroGarden? Sans Soucie Art Glass Studios etches and carves the glass surface by sandblasting the glass. (Sans Soucie does NOT do any acid etching or any kind of machine or laser etching). A little lesson about sandblasting:

Sandblasted glass is a surface treatment produced by using compressed air to spray the glass with an abrasive to roughen one or both surfaces. Sandblasting the surface diffuses transmitted light, reduces glare and gives the glass a "frosted" appearance. The glass can either be etched or carved solid or with shading, which is where we leave clear areas in the glass.

"ETCHED GLASS" is a generic term for the treatment of the glass surface to diffuse transmitted light, reduce glare and give the glass a white, frosted appearance. Sans Soucie etches the glass using sandblasting. "Etching" the glass (vs. carving), means that we sandblasted the glass enough to affect the glass surface only. Etching does not go deep into the glass and creates a one-dimensional effect. "CARVED GLASS" has been sandblasted DEEPER into the surface, creating a three-dimensional sculpted image, carving a relief design, creating a much more detailed effect, obtaining differing depths within the carved image. The carved EDGES within the image will actually appear whiter and brighter, as they pick up and reflect the surrounding light. The image will appear three dimensional, as if it is floating within the glass.

The unique and beautiful Lyme Bay traverses West Dorset and East Devon in south west England, a part of the coastline known as The Jurassic Coast. An Explorer Ticket offers unlimited travel along the route for a day. Not only can you sit back and enjoy the views from the top deck while somebody else drives but you can get off the bus and explore the towns, villages and attractions along the route. You can make parrot toys from a variety of materials and some materials seem to be available around your house. Non toxic wood like Apple, Poplar, Elm and Pine can be used for toy making. Parrots even enjoy playing with wooden squares. Don't create toys from toxic and colored wood. Parrots will chew on the dyed wood and ingest its shreds.

Don't hang the toy parts loosely in the parrot cage. You may place them in the cage or better still tie them to the cage.

Leather is also a good parrot toy material option. Leather when braided into knots serves as a toy for your pet. Parrots like to chew on the soft texture of leather.

Toys can also be made from natural fiber ropes. Cotton and jute ropes can be used. Never use nylon ropes to make toys.

Parrots are sensible creatures. Always try to alternate the toys for your parrot as he will get disinterested very soon playing with the same toy. Some simple game exercises do provide entertainment to your parrot. Stuff a small bowl or pail with chewed up toys and see how well your parrot will empty them. Foraging toys is also a good idea to keep him in occupied. You will marvel at your own toy making traits and feel proud too.
