how do i fix a ducks broken leg?
one of my oldest ducks has broken her leg. it looks like its in 2 places, 1 above the joint and 1 below the joint. a fence blew down yesterday and landed on her leg. she seems to be coping fine and we have put her into a confined space but im wanting to support her leg with something. i bought 2 crepe bandages today and was going to wrap cotton wool round the top and bottom then strengthen it with the bandage making sure i dont cover the joint. will this help her leg to heal?
Take it to the vet ASAP.
