Wool Fur
I found a coat that is "wool/fur fiber" is that coat just as warm as the wool coat?
Some colors of the coat are full wool and some colors are wool/fur fiber. I wanted the black one but it is wool/fur fiber. Will that coat keep me just as warm or should I find a coat that is just wool? To get a black color do you have to have a blend? Or can you find a black wool coat that is not a wool blend?

actually I think wool IS fur. So it's half dozen of this or 6 of the other? The warmth depends upon the openness of the weave, so a loosely woven wool would be LESS warm than a tightly-woven POLY fabric for instance.
So IF there is a bit of true animal fur of some type in the mix...it's prolly there to give a bit of softness to an otherwise scratchy fabric. I would think it would still be just as warm as the pure wool.

First, no cowboy ever owns, or wears, one hat for all occasions. Choice of hats varies according to function and fashion. Light colored hats, usually made of straw, are ideal for summer. For one, when there is no fear of rain, they look good. Also, straw allows air to pass, which is crucial in hot weather. Also, light colors mean little heat is absorbed. Following the same logic, only in reverse, dark-colored, felt hats, storing heat and keeping the head warm, are meant for use in winter.
